Retained Salvage Endorsement

Retained Salvage coverage is an optional endorsement with OpenRoad. If after an accident your vehicle is declared a total loss, you get to keep the salvage (the remains of the vehicle). This provides you the opportunity to restore your prized collector vehicle back to its original glory.

Example:

Imagine you're driving along on a Sunday cruise and get into an accident. Due to the severity of the damage your prized collector car is declared a total loss.  While your OpenRoad coverage does provide you with the Agreed Value of the vehicle, your car has a lot of sentimental value. Wouldn't it be great if you could keep your ride? Restore it back to its original glory? With the Retained Salvage Endorsement you can do exactly that.
